Effective 24 August 2026

RecruitSignal is in early access and is run by one person. This policy describes what the product actually does today, in plain language. It will change as the product does, and the effective date above will change with it.

What we collect

Your account. You sign in with Google, and we receive your email address and the account identifier Google gives us. We do not receive your Google password, and we do not read your Gmail, Drive, or contacts.

Your recruiting data. Everything you put in: players you add, notes you write, offers you record, screenshots and text you capture, and files you import. This is information you choose to enter.

Lookup data. When you ask us to look a player up, we search publicly available sources and store what we find alongside the player — measurables, highlight film links, public social accounts, reported offers. We only gather what is already public.

Usage records. We log each AI lookup — which program, what kind, what it cost — so we can keep the service within its limits. These are counts and costs, not content.

Information about student-athletes

This service exists to help coaches track high-school recruits, so it necessarily holds information about young people, some of whom are minors. We take that seriously and keep the collection narrow: recruiting-relevant information only — name, school, class year, position, measurables, film, publicly announced offers, and the notes a coach writes while evaluating.

We do not collect home addresses, dates of birth, government identifiers, medical or academic records, or anything about family members. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not use this information to train AI models.

If you are a student-athlete, a parent, or a guardian and want to know what a program holds about you or want it removed, email pulse@recruitsignal.ai and we will help.

Where it lives

We run on services that hold data on our behalf. Each is used for one purpose:

  • Vercel — hosts the application.
  • Neon — the PostgreSQL database where your recruiting data is stored.
  • Clerk — handles sign-in and holds your account email.
  • Anthropic — processes captures and lookups. Content you capture is sent for processing and the result is returned to you.
  • Resend — sends the weekly digest email, if you have it switched on.

Who can see your data

Recruiting data belongs to the program that entered it and is visible only to members of that program. Two programs tracking the same player keep entirely separate records; neither can see the other's notes, evaluations, or board.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. As the operator, we can access data when needed to run the service or to help you with a problem.

Email

The only email we send is the weekly digest, and only if it is turned on. Every one carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can switch it off in Settings at any time.

Getting your data, or getting it deleted

You can export your board to CSV or Excel from inside the app at any time, and you can delete individual players yourself.

To ask what we hold, correct it, or delete your account and everything in it, email pulse@recruitsignal.ai. We will act on deletion requests promptly. Deleting a program removes its recruits, notes, captures, and offers.
